Congratulations to Actress Tracee Ellis Ross.

After completion of a successful and much talked about second season of ABC’s black-ish, the 44-year-old has won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy at tonight’s ceremony.

With her Golden Globe win, Tracee becomes the first black woman since Debbie Allen in 1984 to win in this category—a fact that Debbie pointed out earlier this week on Twitter when congratulating Tracee and Issa Rae on being nominated.
