Music Artist One on One Featuring: Hu$h [Read & Listen]

Today on Deejaytakeover feature we had the opportunity to have a talk with newly emerging music artist song writer Hu$h. We discussed his music while asking a list of questions for fans to further learn more about this new artist currently residing in New Haven CT; Along with presenting his new music. Q): Tell me about yourself how did you get your stage name, where are you from, where do you reside etc?

A): My stage name Hu$h comes from life experiences and my work ethic on the streets. I’m originally from Brooklyn but I currently reside in New Haven CT. Hu$h stands For Hustle Until Something Happens.

Q): Who would be your dream artist to collaborate with?

A): My dream collaboration would be with Smokey Robinson. The passion and soul he put into his music will forever make him timeless.

Q): Which artists inspired you the most growing up?
A): Mary j Blige was my inspiration growing up she knew how to use her life to empower her music through her pain and struggle you felt what she felt in her music.
Q): What’s the story behind your new single ? Who was the writers/producers of the song? What do you enjoy about making music?
A): No worries is the story of someone who is confident and secure enough to know they don’t have to depend on anyone. It’s from the view of someone who’s been at the bottom. I wrote the lyrics but Ace Geo and F.S produced the track.

Q): Do you have a video out yet ? If so, Who directed and shot your video for the song? If not, when can fans expect the visuals for that?

A): My no worries  video will be out  Mid- January. It was shot by my dude F.S.

Q): How would you define your genre of music? What can new supporters expect when listening to your music?

A): My genre of music is called true soul it’s the best of all things blended together to create something so refreshing and genuine in terms of music. All my new supporters should expect excellent quality and consistency.

Q):What would you say is your biggest accomplishment to date?

A): My biggest accomplishment right now is my daughter NOVA and my son coming soon NOAH.

Q): If you could cover any song what would it be?

A): My dream cover would be NO MORE PAIN w/ Mary j Blige.
Q): What are the most challenging things you experience as an RNB/HIPHOP artist in today’s industry? What changes would you like to see in the music/ entertainment industry?
A): It’s hard in today’s industry to find people who are as passionate about music as me. it’s extremely hard to get notoriety with quality music without being enamored or fixed into a social media outlet. I would like to see more competitiveness. Positive competitiveness without the shade and hating.
Q):Do you think there’s a double standard in the industry, or in entertainment in general?
A): Absolutely you have to meet social media standards before your music will even be considered? What happened to HOT IS HOT. NOT IS NOT.

Q): Do you have any new projects on the way or any performances occurring, any events? What’s your over plan for the next few months.
A): I’ll be performing at the Legendary Toads Place in New Haven Ct with Chicago’s own CupCakke it should be a great night 12/15
Q): What makes you unique from other artist? Also whats your 5 year goal with your career where do you want to be ?
A): I’m unique in the sense of I’m just me I’m deep rooted in  a lot of different types of music and the culture of music is just embedded in me. My passion is unparalleled. In 5 years I would like to be a household name still making refreshing eclectic bangers. With some Grammys and other awards as well.
Q): What do you do in your free time? Any Hobbies?
A): In my free time I write I enjoy playing sports and watching them. I also love watching historical videos on YouTube.
Q): Who shot your photos for this feature?
A):  Anthony(Price) Feleciano shot my photos and really captured the concept we were going for. New face, new sound, new grind.
